What I've been up to...

Founding Engineer at Elderado

I joined Elderado in Sept 2023 and took the web app from MVP to launch in three months. There, I managed a team of 2 contractors and 1 intern while also contributing much of the code myself. I led a system re-architecture to use GCP and Firebase as well as a migration from MongoDB and JavaScript to PostgreSQL and TypeScript.

Technical lead for Marillac Place

I started the Marillac Place team at UWBlueprint in Sept 2023 and directed 8 developers and co‑ordinated with design and PM teams to create a gamified task‑tracking web app for an NPO that provides support for homeless mothers and empowers them to seek new opportunities.

Technical lead for Focus on Nature

During the final term of the Focus on Nature project at UWBlueprint, I managed a team of 6 developers in implementing and launching a camp booking web app for an NPO promoting youth summer camps. Today, the web app handles the registration of 7000+ campers per year.
